We arrived in the city early and inquired about early check in. We were told for an additional $100 we could check in at 11am. Or we could check in at 2pm without the extra fee. We decided to wait until the guaranteed 4pm check in time, but arrived to a lengthy line and then to learn our room was not available. We waited over an hour before we actually got in our room. The staff was somewhat apologetic, but this delay was unacceptable. The next day we were offered a late check out as we were in the process of checking out. We did receive a 10% discount, but this was not a good experience.

They upgraded us to a room with a fireplace and soaker tub upon check in. It was a lovely hotel very close to everything Montreal has to offer. A Metro is right outside the door. I love the Nespresso machine in room, for morning coffee! The staff were generous about refilling it everyday.

Really love the location, the small, cosy library with the fireplace, and the front desk help. I loved the classic design of the room and everything was enjoyable. However, my husband and I found the mattress to be uncomfortable. Other than that everything was great.

We had a quick getaway for our anniversary. Le St. Martin is in a perfect location and is clean and comfortable. I would only say that they need room darkening shades on the windows as it is very bright in the room at night. Breakfast is amazing and the pool was wonderful on a cold winter night!
