Front desk Christopher was awesome, ambience and location was perfect.

Room had no amenities like coffee, microwave, etc. The bathroom shower was leaking. The TV remote was missing. The view was blocked by the building across. Ask for a two digit floor if you want a good view.

Definitely a 5-star location. Easy walking distance to French Quarter and surrounded by really good restaurants. Staff was one of the best we have encountered. Front desk always ready to serve. Anything you need, they provide. Great Bar (opens at 5:00 PM weekdays and 4:00 PM weekends). Great Bartenders with live New Orleans Jazz Music on Friday. Rooms relatively spartan but comfortable beds. "Garden View" is actually a small rooftop with a statue and several potted plants on 2nd floor roof but really soundproof to traffic and other rooms. Really good workout facility. A large number of return business patrons.

A "Hidden Jewel". We were celebrating our 52nd Anniversary with Friends that were also celebrating their 52nd Anniversary. The hotel provided a nice bottle of Champaign as a gift to each of us. The hotel was also celebrating their 25th Anniversary.

The room smelled like old shoes and the curtains didn’t close. Ice was only available at the front desk and the phone in the room didn’t work.

International House is a great hotel but the staff is a little bit lacking. They just take your credit card and charge you whatever the cost without breaking down the bill and explaining why they’re charging you more than what your reservation states. I had to continue to ask the person at the desk to break down the charges and explain why he was charging me more Than what my reservation stated. Besides that, International House is a great place to stay . I love the atmosphere and the rooms, although small, are not bad.

Very clean, nice lobby, bar and rooms. Quiet. Inconvenient for walking to French Quarter and trolly stops. Only disappointment was their restaurant was not open in the beginning of the week which is when we stayed there.
