Sleep Eat Love is a budget hostel in Liverpool's Hatton Garden area, a great base from which to explore Liverpool's iconic sights. The property is in a traditional building with a stone and redbrick facade. It is 10 minutes' walk from the World Museum, the Walker Art Museum, "the city's foremost art gallery" (Lonely Planet), and the sprawling Liverpool ONE shopping and leisure complex. The Albert Dock, home to Tate Liverpool and the Beatles Story, is about 20 minutes' walk away. The Baltic Triangle, full of bars and street-food vendors, is approximately a 10-minute taxi-ride away.
Sleep Eat Love's lobby area features colourful sofas and a computer corner. Interior features include retro and industrial-inspired touches including wooden floors, naked light bulbs and shelves made from exposed pipes. Communal spaces have beanbags and a TV, and there’s a kitchen area with white picnic tables. There's also a mini New York-style kitchen with a kettle and a microwave.
A range of sleeping options are available at Sleep Eat Love including mixed-dorms sleeping up to four people, and private rooms with either shared or ensuite bathrooms. Simply designed the quarters are decorated with modern rough wood furnishings, and some have nature-themed murals. Wi-Fi is free.
