Cable Mountain Lodge
Why We Love This Hotel
- Five-minute walk to the South Entrance of Zion National Park
- The picnic area along the banks of the Virgin River has grills and lounge chairs free to all guests
- Seasonal outdoor heated pool, year-round hot tub
This upscale lodge is the perfect option for guests visiting Zion National Park who want to experience the outdoors but don't want to sacrifice comfort and amenities. Cable Mountain Lodge is located across the street from the South Entrance of the park and just a short drive away from the shopping and restaurants that Springdale has to offer.
The rustically designed studios have kitchenettes, marble bathroom countertops and wood floors throughout. Suites are more luxurious, larger and a better option for those traveling with larger groups as they are equipped with full kitchens and separate living spaces. Amenities include free parking, Wi-Fi and use of barbecue grills and lounges at the riverside picnic area. The heated pool (seasonal) and year-round hot tub offer great views of the massive sandstone cliffs.
The hiking trails are extremely easy to access, as is the 7.5-mile biking trail. Guided ATV and hiking tours, tubing on the Virgin River, helicopter tours and bike rentals are just a few of the many activities available to visitors of the park. In the winter, guests can also try out cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Springdale has many dining and shopping options, some within a 10-minute walk of the lodge.
