Le Manoir des Deux Amants is in Normandy, on the banks of the Seine.
The manor, which was designed with in a typical French country style is 30 minutes' drive the town of Rouen. Here you can explore the medieval streets and the Rouen Cathedral of Notre Dame and until end of September, the monument is highlighted for a Light Show. The event, tells the story of Vikings and William the Conqueror.
One-hour drive away, you can also visit Giverny Gardens, where Monet’s masterpieces are exhibited, or discover Honfleur. According to The Daily Telegraph, “this picturesque Norman port features in dozens of Impressionist paintings. Following the example of local painter Eugène Boudin, artists poured in from Paris to paint Honfleur's ever-changing light, often against the backdrop of the great wood and slate houses that surround the ancient harbor."
