We got our 4 night stay on TravelZoo. They upgraded our room to a king suite. Having a kitchen and living room was nice. The bathroom needs more hooks and bars for towels and convenience. Hooks in the entry way would be nice. The kitchen was well appointed with tools pots pans and utensils. Dishwasher was appreciated. Loved the spa hot tub!!! Loved the location. The staff were great.

Cliff rose was way above my expectations when I booked this trip to get away and disconnect! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. For me, it was the little touches-the welcome letter that suggested you sit by the river and light the fire pit so you could immerse yourself in the sounds and grandeur of the views. It was the texts each day checking to see if I needed anything. The restaurant staff who created a welcoming, where ya from vibe. And the grounds! Right along the Virgin river, with a hot tub overlooking the canyon. And the location, with the river walk behind the hotel I could walk to coffee, the brewery , the store, and the beginning of trails in the park.
I will be returning to Cliffrose!

The staff were welcoming, caring, attentive and professional. Texts to check in with us during our stay was a lovely touch. Housekeeping was exceptional, making sure everything was cleaned and stocked. Honestly the highest rating possible for the staff and management of this hotel! The rooms were beautiful and the property was very well maintained. The backdrop of Zion and the Virgin river outside our room was outstanding. The letter encouraging us to sit out by the river was great and a highlight of our stay here. Fire pits added to the lovely atmosphere and provided necessary heat in chilly weather. The location right outside Zion entrance was stellar. The nicest hotel experience ever! I wholeheartedly recommend this exquisite hotel.

The staff was fantastic. They upgraded our room without us asking. They checked in on us (texting) regularly. The location so close to the south entrance of Zion was perfect. The coffee was great and our breakfast excellent and reasonable.

People should consider going during the iff season. No shuttles are not running but you can drive all the way in to where the Narrows trail begins. And you can stop at many different pull offs and shuttle parking

After a long day of driving we arrived and were treated like we were VIPs. The front desk hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. It was late, so we weren’t able to see the view from our patio, but our view from the pool/hot tub was spectacular! There was not a cloud in the sky and we saw several shooting stars! The beds were comfortable and when we woke up in the morning we were blessed with the most amazing views of the Virgin river surrounded by the cliffs! It was the perfect resort for us!

We absolutely loved the location, the amenities, the staff and the views! Our one bedroom 2 queen room w/ a balcony overlooking one of the pools and a green space was just what we hoped it would be (room 403). Updated bathroom with separate tile shower and soaking tub, awesome bath and hand washing products, plenty of towels, and a mini fridge that I wasn't sure was going to be included from the room description when we booked. You couldn't possibly be closer to the entrance to Zion...as a matter of fact, a trail from the hotel takes you right to the visitor's center.
The only thing we wished for was a small table in our room, as there was nowhere to sit inside besides the beds. It made it tough to eat our delicious meals from places like Bit and Spur and Cafe Soleil. The walls are quite thin, also. These things would still not deter us from staying here again! The staff helpfulness and cleanliness of the entire campus is to be commended. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We've stayed at the Cliffrose prior to the Hilton taking it over. It's an amazing location. You can walk into Zion NP so you dont have to worry about waiting on the car line. The grounds are spectacular. it was off-season, so we expected it to be quiet. It was for the most part which surprised me when the front desk said they were sold out when we checked in. Which was disappointing since we were given a room right next to the lobby and on the main road. It was loud. We'd hear the phone ring at 3am from the lobby. And the TV only offered cable. most hotels these days offer netflix, apple, hulu, etc. it was an option but when i asked about it - they said there's no wifi for it. strange b/c we had hotel wifi.
We cancelled our restaurant reservations at the hotel. it's not much of a restaurant. It's located in the lobby. no privacy from people checking in. And for the cost, we just decided to head into town. We used our $30 credit for a Hiker's Meal. The idea was good, but they were out of so many options - including fruit. The reason they gave was that they were changing the menu. My parfait had fruit in it though. Strange. But it did come with a good amount of food - sandwich, side, drink and in a keepsake insulated bag.
I would return because of the location and how pretty it is. Especially if there are more TravelZoo deals. hopefully these little things will be tweaked.

We love staying away from the crowds in town. The location is perfect. The two bedroom, two bath suite is perfect for a family. The kitchen could be better stacked with cooking utensils, spatulas, serving spoons, ect.

fantastic location and great Travelzoo deal. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is just a stone's throw away from Zion Nat'l Park's west entrance. The hotel offers free shuttles in town and to the park, so we didn't need to drive during our stay. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Absolutely marvelous! The hotel is within a 5 minute walking distance to the park entrance. If you’re lucky to get one of the rooms facing the river then you will enjoy every second of it! The amenities were also very nice. It had a full kitchen, a large bedroom and a nice bathroom with a tub and a shower. As a bonus, you will also come face to face with a few friendly bucks. I would highly recommend this hotel!
