Situated beside Potsdam Harbour, the Mercure Hotel Potsdam City is just a 25-minute train journey from Berlin. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the Brandenburg Gate of Potsdam and a 30-minute walk from Sanssouci Palace, the summer palace of Frederick the Great.
Steeped in history, Potsdam is the former Prussian royal residence. Many of the unique buildings and parks in the city are UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as Orangerie Palace, Babelsberg Palace and Babelsberg Park.
