Very nice hotel in the very heart of Palm Springs. Lovely room and pool area. Super gym to use, the morning coffee in the lobby was delish. Superior bedding and very comfortable Sealy mattresses.

Good location, well-maintained hotel, friendly staff. I thought the rooftop pool and bar was the best feature. It's a nice hotel, but if it weren't for the Travel Zoo discount, the place would have been over-priced compared to others nearby.
Other Comments
I was disappointed that the staff were lax with their masks (wearing it below the nose--even in the elevator with guests in the elevator with them, or not at all until they saw a guest coming).
And they claim that they can provide guests with almost anything that they might have forgotten, or will go get it if they don't have it on hand, but they didn't have two items I had forgotten (earplugs and sunscreen), and didn't offer to get them.

From the moment we pulled up to valet parking, to our early early morning departure, all our requests and needs were met. Exceptional service throughout. Wonderful location for walking and dining experiences.

Honestly, not really other than the parking staff was, without exception, friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at several Kimpton Hotels in other cities and expected the same kind of refinement and elegance that they almost always present. None of that was apparent in this hotel. In addition, while the pool deck had probably seating for 150+, the pool was small and over crowded with, maybe, 40 people in it.
