Overview

Nestled on a 9-acre garden with fountains and walking trails, the Anaheim Hotel is across the street from Disneyland -- a few minutes' walk from the main gate. The family-friendly hotel completed a $6.5 million renovation to common spaces and guest rooms in the fall of 2017.

Rooms are furnished with two queen or king beds, coffeemakers, refrigerators, safes and flat-screen TVs. All accommodations include Wi-Fi and many have private patios or balconies.

For meals, guests can dine at Pizza Press for lunch and dinner, Charterhouse Kitchen for breakfast or the Front Room Lounge, which serves cocktails, local beer and a gastropub menu. The hotel features an Olympic-size outdoor pool, hot tub and 24-hour fitness center. Guests also have access to a complimentary business center and coin-operated laundry facilities.

The property is adjacent to the Anaheim Garden Walk’s shopping, dining and entertainment. The Anaheim Convention Center is less than a mile from the hotel, and Knott’s Berry Farm is 8 miles away.

Front desk was okay and I liked going to the bar in the morning to get coffee and like the option of breakfast although should be included.
Other Comments
The room was a lot smaller than the pictures Travel Zoo showed. We had a two queen room and it was VERY small and dated. It wasn't clean either. No hook for any towels. Tile was scratched and dirty. VERY small bathroom and vanity. Not enough room to put all of our items. In the morning there I found the biggest cockroach I have ever seen in my life in the shower. I screamed and woke my husband to kill it. Front desk was friendly enough. Gift shop closes too early on the weeknights. Floor was squeaky.

Great happy hour at The Front Room bar. Pizza Press had good quality food & breakfast was also served at the hotel.
Other Comments
Beds were comfy & room overall was large. TV seemed too small for the size of the room. Bathroom was clean & well-appointed but very small & not much water pressure in the shower. Water standing in the tub while you showered - big problem.

The beds were uncomfortable and sheets felt like sandpaper. In addition we had ants in our bathroom and the heater tood forever to warm the room.
Other Comments
The main problem was we had requested a lower level room because we have a wheelchair and yet they put us on the second floor. They sold the second floor room by saying we have a ramp, however every ramp has a sign that says not accessible.

Location near the park was good, and the attached restaurant seemed very popular. I was almost sorry I didn't get to eat there. Room was a good size, and lots of great counter space.
Other Comments
It was just an underwhelming space. Didn't really feel clean or well assembled. The duvet cover had some holes in it, and was made upside-down on the bed with the opening at the head. The shower drain didn't work well, so your feet ended up in a pool of water. Lots of weird issues with wear-and-tear that I wouldn't have expected from a remodeled space. It felt care-worn. No outlet or USB port by the bed for the phone to plug in (had to be across the room). Nothing really worth complaining or making a fuss about, but all combined I wouldn't go back.
