Get away to the City of Light without having to make an overseas journey at Paris Las Vegas, in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. With its exterior replica of the Eiffel Tower and interior cobblestone walkways, guests feel as though they’ve been whisked away to Europe’s most romantic city. A trip to Las Vegas is incomplete unless you see a show. Snag tickets to the award-winning musical, "Jersey Boys" – which details the story of legends Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

In the mornings, wander the winding paths through the shops and cafes of this Parisian street lookalike. Dine alfresco Strip-side at Mon Ami Gabi where casual French cuisine classics like crepes and escargot can be paired with an extensive wine list. There are nearly a dozen other dining options at the resort, so you are sure to whet any appetite and fulfill all cravings.

During the warmer months, sunbathe in the shadows of the Eiffel Tower replica at the rooftop Soleil Pool. Rent a cabana (extra fees apply) within the French gardens, order cocktails and appetizers, then take a dip to cool off.

After spending the evening at the casino or nightclub, head back to a guest room with custom European furniture and a marble bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. Rooms located on the higher floors have additional modern touches and provide spectacular views of the world-famous Strip.

Guests are responsible for a $35.84 (including tax) nightly resort fee that covers in-room internet access for two devices per day and fitness center access for two daily.

Resort fee of 32.00 per day alledgedly for wi-fi and pool access. I did not use the pool and had no previous plans to use the pool. Two of the three times I attempted to log onto wi-fi in the four days I was not able to log on due to errors messages. Those reasons alone have guaranted I will never return. Considering all strip hotels have this fee, I will remove Las Vegas from my list of get a way locales.

The concierge who checked myself and my friend in was kind of rude. They didn't have our room available, which we payed extra for (to have a view), so the staff member went into the back for about 15 minutes to figure it out. Upon arriving in our room, there was old food and beverages in the fridge. Seemingly from an old guest. We called room service to take care of it, and when they arrived, asked us to get the old food/bev out of the fridge and throw it away in the housekeeping trash. GROSS!! Totally wasn't worth the money I spent. The Cosmopolitan looked like a better choice. Next time!
