Roughly a 2.5-hour drive outside of Manhattan in the center of downtown Montauk, this 4-star boutique hotel puts guests in the heart of the action: It's only one block to the beach, while Montauk's trendy bars and restaurants are nearly all accessible on foot from the Plaza circle around the corner. The hotel itself feels ultra hip thanks to a lively pool scene, featuring D.J. sets and musical performances on the weekends — for guests seeking a tranquil atmosphere, we suggest staying on a weekday.
The cool vibe extends to the guest rooms, too, which are decked out with Instagrammable furnishings like vintage wrought-iron beds, Edison lamps and polished brass fixtures in the bathrooms. They also feature high-end amenities like rainfall showers and vaulted 11-foot ceilings; many offer private outdoor patios or balconies as well.
The on-site bar and grill offers a genuinely impressive array of hand-crafted — and very photogenic — cocktails, as well as wood-fired pizzas, burgers, salads and small bites (cannoli, anyone?). Guests can also take advantage of complimentary loaner beach cruisers, though, thanks to the hotel's stellar location, you may not need them.

When we checked in we were told they had different dates on my reservation, so couldn't put me in the king bed room that was advertised on the 2nd floor. We were on the first floor, facing the street. (Not sure if it was because i used a travel zoo voucher)
Overall, room was nice.
Location was awesome - block from the beach.
No breakfast (but was advertised)

Great location. Easy to walk to the beach, town and restaurants. Rooms were nice but bathrooms are tiny. Can barely turn around in the shower. Felt safe everyone is wearing masks and there is sanitizer everywhere including the rooms.

Nice hotel with beautiful setting. Great food and drinks.
Other Comments
No coffee maker in room. Bar and restaurant closed way too early allegedly due to inclement weather. Clearly they just wanted to save money on staff during COVID. If you open, you must provide service people pay for. That was annoying, otherwise we had a relaxing time and enjoyed the stay.

Although 2 blocks from the beach - the provided pool and bar/fire pit area presented a resort like atmosphere. Close to all restaurants. Front staff very accommodating and courteous.
