Enjoyed Most: Walking distance to attraction. Breakfast and hors d'oeuvres
Other Comments: I was affraid to go to this hotel after reading so many bad reviews but I must say,we did not have any problem withi self parking (we were in by 5 pm), AC worked fine, The staff was nice. This is not a fancy nor elegant hotel. It does need to be remodel if the want to charge 4 star hotel prices but for $129 per night in the executive level it was excellent.

Enjoyed Most: The location is a good place for a base of operations. They are close to shops and restaurants and within walking distance to some of downtown Atlanta's attractions, i.e. the King Memorial.
Other Comments: The room wasn't in the best of shape. There was a loose toilet seat and a piece of drywall was missing over the sink. The shower curtain is some kind of cloth material that comes into the shower while you are in there. You have to push it away many times while you are showering. The water temperature fluctuated wildly while I was showering as well. I was on the 4th floor and I could hear people talking and laughing in the front of the hotel at very early morning hours, so the outside noise disturbed my sleep. Finally, as ubiquitous as the internet is, there is no free wifi. I would think that in this day and age a hotel should have a free option for wifi.

Enjoyed Most: The people I interacted with who tried to help.
Other Comments: The multiple visits from the engineers to attempt to fix unfixable TVs (4 of them), the TV stations that would never work, the replacement of the phone that didn't work. That neither of the rooms I had were prepared without feathers, despite my requests, and the constant refrain "I'm sorry about that."

Enjoyed Most: Location is OK, but still nearly a mile walk to attractions. Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, College Football Hall of Fame, etc
Other Comments: 1- Got charged for internet even though I have a Hilton Honors account. (apparently, because I booked through travelzoo) This after spending 45 minutes on the phone with four different people, finally getting a IT person from ATT who got a password for me and said I wasn't being charged. 2- Had to pay for valet parking because the parking deck was full. Really? Not enough parking for your own guests? As if $24 to self-park in the hotel deck wasn't enough. 3- Rooms are really in need of upgrade. Musty smell, paint peeling from ceiling in bathroom.

Other Comments: Great hotel in heart of downtown Atlanta. Beautiful accommodations and clean rooms with friendly staff. Parking fills up quickly though.

Enjoyed Most: The free breakfast on the executive floor

Enjoyed Most: The beds were comfy.
Other Comments: The parking is a nightmare. You pay for parking and they don't have a spot for you. Also, the lack of anything but scalding hot water in our room made it hard to wash hands, shower, etc.

Enjoyed Most: The hotel is in a very convenient location. It's close to MARTA and many restaurants and attractions downtown. I read other reviewers' comments about room issues, noise issues, slow elevators, etc., but didn't experience any of those problems. My room was on the 6th floor, facing the street. I heard very little street noise, the room itself was great and clean, and it never took more than a few seconds for an elevator to arrive - and the hotel was very busy with a convention! I would highly recommend the Hilton Atlanta, especially with a deal like this!
