Offering bright modern accommodation in the city centre, the Hotel Reding Croma occupies a prime location within walking distance of many of Barcelona’s historic sights. Set along a narrow street lined with ornate buildings, the hotel is housed in a traditional property with a stone façade, a short stroll from both Universitat metro station and MACBA, Barcelona’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Plaça de Catalunya, the city’s central square, from which the landmark pedestrianised thoroughfare La Rambla leads off, is around 5 minutes’ walk away, whilst the Gothic Quarter, known for its winding streets and lively nightlife, is 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The Picasso Museum, housing one of the most extensive collections of the artist’s work, is about a 20-minute walk away and La Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece, takes approximately 35 minutes to reach on foot.
The Hotel Reding Croma BCN’s glass doorway opens to contemporary-design interiors, which include a lobby with a red-toned reception area. Guests can start the day with buffet breakfast (fee) served in the dining room, which features a mural of the city skyline, work out in the compact fitness room, and relax the TV lounge. Other amenities include a library, a business centre and bike rentals.
Bold colourful feature walls characterise the hotel’s guestrooms, which are decorated in a straightforward style with wood furnishings. All include free Wi-Fi, mini bars, and TVs, whilst higher tariff rooms come with mood-lit bathrooms.
