It was a really cute hotel, the room was pleasant, and the employees were excellent. I just wish we had been able to get more sleep.

There was massive construction going on across the street from the hotel, they started work around 6:30 am, I really wish this was disclosed when we booked/confirmed.

The hotel and staff were wxcellent! They are building new condos across the street so don't expect to sleep past 7:00 am.

Hayes Street Hotel was lovely. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Staff was friendly, and clearly happy to be there.

It would have been so much better if there wasn’t construction literally right across the street. It started with pounding at 7 am.

Lovely hotel… short staffed as most places. Was supposed to get welcome drinks… bar closed on Tuesday
The rug in room got wet near hvac unit. I think with enough staff and things open a lovely hotel..

Valet and front desk person were over and above friendly, they were great first impressions.
Room was spacious, and we were able to walk to lower Broadway and enjoy the honky tonks. Walked back and found an enclave of bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. Had a nightcap at the hotel bar and the bartender made extremely delicious old fashions for us, and we engaged in banter with other guests.

We were pleasantly greeted, our car was valet parked, and our room be was ready early. The hotel is modern and clean and the location was perfect for a brisk walk (about a mile) to Broadway.
Other Comments
There is major construction going on across the street but it didn’t impact our stay. They do not have an operational bar right now due to staffing issues.
