My wife and I wanted a quiet getaway and we got that. We spent NYE here and it was everything we expected. The doorman Daniel was so attentive and so welcoming to us. We left him a tip at the front desk because he stayed on our mind but was off right after we checked in but was the best of everyone here. This is a great getaway for families and even couples. We are already planning our next getaway in May of 2018. The only reason the Inn didn't get 5 stars was because the hot water and coffee sat out for guests was never hot. We stayed here for 2 days and it was always warm not hot! We felt this was bad because it was 9 degrees outside. Brrrrrr! Also the restaurant and room service was very limited.

This Inn is only 4 years old, replacing the old Inn. It is built to fit in with the Sewanee University. It is lovely!

Everyone needs to go it is a great place to just relax and enjoy the countryside and the small town atmosphere. the local shops and restaurants are really excellent. The church on the campus is a must see. Its great for a ladies trip weekdays not much traffic, easy to get to from Atlanta, just a great place to see, and if you like to hike there are wonderful waterfalls in the area.
