Set on Fifth Avenue, one of New York City’s most fashionable addresses, the Langham is half hotel, half apartment building and full-service for all guests. Visitors are greeted with bouquets of pink roses and the brand’s signature ginger flower aroma upon arrival in the contemporary lobby, appointed with modern art, sky blue couches, a fireplace and spiral staircase leading to Ai Fiori, the hotel’s Michelin-rated restaurant.
Rooms are especially large for midtown, starting at over 400 square feet, and include walnut furniture, leather headboards, Nespresso coffeemakers and floor-to-ceiling windows. Marble bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs and rainfall showers. Some rooms have views of the Empire State Building, and guests can upgrade to suites with kitchenettes. Families looking to spread out can book apartment-style accommodations with full kitchens, living and dining rooms.
The spa occupies the entire fourth floor, offering treatments that range from Traditional Chinese Medicine to Himalayan Salt Saunas. There is also a large gym open around the clock with touch screens offering Fitness on Demand classes and personal trainers.
The hotel is less than 10 blocks from the Empire State Building, the New York Public Library and Grand Central Station. Guests can reach the Theater District, Times Square and Rockefeller Center easily via public transit or on foot in fewer than 20 minutes.
