Goodman's Living is a collection of modern self-serviced apartments in Berlin -- a city "bound to mesmerise anyone keen to explore its vibrant culture, cutting-edge architecture, fabulous food, intense parties and tangible history" (Lonely Planet).
The apartments are located in West Berlin's upscale borough of Charlottenburg, a 15-minute walk from the 17th-century Schloss Charlottenburg -- the largest palace in Berlin and the former home of Brandenburg electors, Prussian kings and German emperors (open Tuesday-Sunday; admission fees apply).
The Bismarckstrasse U-Bahn (subway) station is less than two minutes' walk from the apartments, offering excellent transport links to some of Berlin's most popular sites. The U2 subway to Potsdamer Platz takes 15 minutes; from there, it's a 15-minute walk to the Reichstag Building, a 10-minute walk to the Holocaust Memorial, and a 5-minute walk to the Museum of Film and Television (open Tuesday-Sunday; admission fees apply).
Checkpoint Charlie, The Jewish Museum (open daily; admission fees apply) and The East Side Gallery -- "a colourful tribute to a once divided city" (Time Out) and the largest remaining section of the Berlin Wall still standing -- are all within 30 minutes of the apartments by subway.
Museum Island -- a Unesco World Heritage Site -- can be reached in 35 minutes by subway. This island on the River Spree is home to five world-renowned museums (opening times vary; admission fees apply), including the Pergamon archaeological museum, the Egyptian Neues Museum, the Bode Museum, the Alte Nationalgalerie and the Altes Museum.
Visitors can save money on museum entry and transport during their trip -- we recommend visiting the Museumsportal Berlin website for more information on special offers.
Cosy Corner apartments are approximately 30-35m² and feature a queen-sized bed, a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, and views over the street or the internal courtyard. Wi-Fi is free.
Guests need to collect breakfast from the lobby, located within the apartment complex, and can eat it there or take it back to the apartment (7am-10am Monday-Friday and 9am-11am on weekends and bank holidays).
