Rooms are not air conditioned and this was a problem even on a rainy night as it was noisy with the windows open

Fantastic location to explore all of downtown Victoria and city beaches. Can walk everywhere. The only negative side was our room was facing busy street and was noisy at times. The hotel had declicious bistro attached for small bites, wine/beer, espresso. Pool/hot tub, workout area quite nice!

We enjoyed the rooftop garden on the sixth floor.

When we were first checking in, they were apparently understaffed at the front desk since it took about 20 minutes for someone to wait on us. That was a bad first impression, but the rest of our stay made up for it.

Location was close to Empress Hotel, Government Street-Parliament, Chinatown/Olde Town, lots of restaurants and the waterfront. We didn't need a car as everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. We walked to and from the Ferry with a suitcase with no problem. Recommend Tre Fantastico Cafe in the building for convenient light dinner, appetizers, drinks, coffee, desserts.

The hotel has no air conditioning and we were in a Southwest facing room. The view of downtown was lovely, but we had to keep drapes closed in the afternoon (sun). The doors and windows had to be open all night to cool it down and we were on a busy street, so traffic noise could be heard even with earplug they provided. We had above average temps while visiting. Our Luxury one bedroom suite was lovely. Bed was comfortable, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms. Would stay again.
