"Everything.. Convenient parking, being able to go in and out. Breakfast was delicious and the room was one of the most comfortable I have stayed in. Almost like a suite. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect..away from the crowds, still close enough to walk to historical sites."

Very nice inside and new

Elevator doors are poorly timed. Saw many people get shut out since they close way too fast. This also was marketed as being right in the middle of the shops downtown Charleston. It was actually over a mile to get to those things, which in the unbearable heat required cabs. So I was very disappointed with that. Made the vacay considerably less enjoyable but I'll be using Google maps next time instead of reading the hotel description, so that's my fault for not digging into it more. Pool was nice. One of the cleaning ladies kind of accused me of trying to steal towels and toilet paper when I just needed more bc they had not serviced our room yet. She could barely speak any English and just kept saying "why?" When I told her we needed new towels and toilet paper.
