Hotel Deco XV
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- The hotel recently reopened its newly renovated cocktail bar and steakhouse
- Wi-Fi and coffee service are free
- Housed in a historic 11-story art deco building; higher floors have great city views
- Other luxe details include complimentary car service to nearby destinations like Omaha's popular Old Market entertainment district
One of just two AAA 4-Diamond properties in the entire state, Omaha's luxurious Hotel Deco XV has the added benefit of being just a few steps from the cobblestone-lined streets of the Old Market warehouse district, with restaurants, bars, museums, art galleries, theaters and shops.
The Deco recently renovated its restaurant to open the new Monarch Prime & Bar steakhouse, which is already earning top marks from OpenTable guests and prompted the Omaha World-Herald to say that the restaurant "could redefine our vision of steak." Guests can sample cuts like a dry-aged wagyu sirloin or a bison striploin alongside classic cocktails like Negronis, Old Fashioneds and Sazeracs.
Originally built in 1930, this 11-story art deco building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was completely revamped in 2010 to renovate every guest room, suite and public space. Rooms are spacious and outfitted in a contemporary silver and white palette with plush bedding, flat-panel TVs and sleek, modern furniture.
Suites have large separate seating areas, and the bathrooms sport Italian tile and spa-inspired showers with body jets. Car service (in a Lincoln Navigator) is available for destinations within three miles of the hotel.
