Hever Hotel is in the Kent village of Hever -- known for its picturesque Tudor properties. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the double-moated childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Hever Castle, which was built in the 13th century. Rich with Tudor artwork and furniture, it also has gardens, a lake, a woodland walk and a maze to explore.

The hotel is on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is full of nature reserves and hiking trails. Chartwell House, a National Trust property once belonging to Winston Churchill, is around 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. Hever Castle Golf Club, which has hosted PGA EuroPro Tour events, is next to the property.

The hotel has a main bar, an upstairs piano bar and a games room with a pool table. Breakfast and dinner are served in the Stables Restaurant, which has a rustic feel with wooden beams and pillars. The hotel also has a gym, a sauna, a tennis court and a games room. Guests can borrow bikes, helmets and high-visibility jackets from the hotel without charge (subject to availability).

Rooms have free Wi-Fi and views of the hotel's grounds.

Location for Hever Castle.
Other Comments
1. No wardrobe to hang dress up just a small cupboard next to bed no use for anything. 2. Walls so thin was kept awake by a bad snorer for over 3 hours. 3. Power cut at breakfast, no cooked except bacon. No croissants or cheese , ham etc which you don’t have to cook on offer. Very disappointed all round.

Yes, the room and bathroom were very clean and well maintaianed.

It was a very busy night, I think a golfing occassion. The food , both chicken and fish were dry overcooked and spolied. Although it was busy, the chef could crtainly see what was being dished up, so not an excuse really.
