It was an ok stay. Our room was a bit dated and there was a musty smell. Service was nice. Location is convenient but the neighborhood is super expensive. The elevator project made getting in and out really frustrating (only one elevator working).

The hotel never gave me the 10% promised discount at the lounge. The charge for coffee in the morning at the lounge was outrageous! a $6 coffee (already too much) to which was added a tip even though I poured the coffee myself.
I hope they get their elevators fixed soon -- there was not enough capacity.

Great location- walking distance to Central Park, Times Square and multiple other tourist sites. Loved the 2 bathrooms in the one bedroom suite for our family of four. Staff very nice. Had Manhattan Club with drinks specials which was good because their drinks were very pricey. Rooms could use updating is my only complaint but would stay there again despite that. Bonus was free bag of microwave popcorn in room each day.

Although the room itself was nice, it wasn't huge – – then we discovered the perk of being on the penthouse floor, which is that you have rooftop terraces available to you! we just has a fabulous weekend in nyc at this hotel! i splurged and upgraded to a one-bedroom suite. booking was easy and the hotel provided great communication. the hotel offers valet parking which we took advantage of for $35/day. walking to the theater district, times square, and the subway was minutes away. the staff was very helpful and friendly. would definitely stay here again our room was clean and spacious.

the only complaint was the hotel was undergoing renovations and the elevators were always slow and crowded because only a few were working. you had to plan extra time to get to and from your room.

We roamed NYC all day and checked in about 9pm. Mary greeted us and was friendly and helpful. She initially told us breakfast was not included but when I mentioned the travelzoo deal included breakfast for 2 she checked and apologized and explained how our 3rd person would be charged $30. And that our total bill was the same as my travelzoo docs. She then told us she had more good news and our junior suite had been upgraded to an executive suite with a balcony. Well, that balcony was bigger than some hotel rooms! and the views from the 21st floor were just amazing! That should let you know that they only have a continental breakfast- no kitchen. But they have a lot to offer including freshly made pancakes from a little machine and pre-proportioned plain or cheese omelets (seemed like a creamy Velveta) and bacon on the side. They also had greek yogurt and bagels, cereal etc. The older gentleman in the dining room was very helpful, explaining every detail and was VERY attentive. There were 2 waters in the room clearly marked at $8. Checkout was just as easy and pleasant. We would surely go again and recommend it.

Traveled to NYC for a concert at Citi Field and a Broadway show. Found the hotel location excellent for everywhere we needed to go. Staff, in particular housekeeping, the staff upstairs in the lounge, and front desk staff were very nice and accommodating.

It's amazing to have the kitchenette and the extra room when you have a few days' stay in the city. The free breakfast for two was a nice touch, saving us time on our way out for the day. Delicious pancakes and French croissants!

The Manhattan Club is perfectly located: a 5-minute walk to Central Park, 10 minutes to Times Square and the theaters. We walked to the Empire State Building in 25 minutes. Took at 25-minute subway ride to the Statue of Liberty. The included breakfast through Travel Zoo was continental but had many options. Very welcoming staff. The hotel itself is a little dated but if all you are going to do is sleep in your room it is fine.

Rooms are “suites” with a separate seating area. Linens and bath amenities were nice. Bar and breakfast area were nice on the 26th floor with a view to the Citi building. Breakfast buffet was nice though there was not freshly prepared dishes.
