"We had a wonderful weekend at Capitol Reef Resort. The location is amazing. We stayed in a king suite with patio & it was wonderful to sit on the patio with a coffee in the morning watching the sun come up on the right while the moon was still visible on the left. The room has a separate bedroom & a living area with a double sofa bed. There is a sink, microwave & decent sized mini fridge in the living room & a Keurig coffee machine. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi tub & nice high end products. Breakfast onsite is $10 & is a buffet. Dinner was reasonable & you can bring your own wine for a $10 corkage fee. We also did the horse riding that is onsite & that was a lot of fun."

Rooms were very dated and had a musty odor. Room was not ready at time promised.

Rooms are average for a motel, not sure I would call it a resort. However location, location, location. Our room had a fantastic view and was close to the park. The town of Torrey was 10 minutes away with other choices of local restaurants.
