Hotel Santa Justa Lisboa is a 4-star hotel near Rossio square in Lisbon's historic centre. It is four blocks from the Santa Justa Elevador, a cast-iron gothic-style lift that links Baixa and Carmo Square.
The hotel is Baixa, "where age-old herbalists, haberdashers and tailors rub shoulders in the baroque streets " (The Daily Telegraph). The high-street shops and bars in Chiado are a short walk away, as is the National Museum of Contemporary Art. The hotel is five minutes' walk from Rossio Metro station for access to city-wide sights.
The hotel's restaurant serves international favourites and traditional Portuguese dishes, such as bacalhau (salt cod). Room service is available from 7am-11pm.
The contemporary rooms are spacious, and Superior rooms are even larger than the basic Comfort rooms. Many rooms have city views, and some also have balconies. There's free Wi-Fi, and guests can consume the contents of the mini bar, which includes soft drinks and one beer (re-filled daily), for free. Rooms also have a Nespresso machine, and guests get two free coffee capsules each day.
