These modern apartments are in Farnborough, Hampshire -- a 5-minute walk from the railway station, which has direct services into London Waterloo.
Farnborough Serviced Apartments are an 8-minute walk from St Michael's Abbey -- a Benedictine monastery built by Empress Eugénie in 1881 after the deaths of her son, and her husband, Napoleon III. Farnham, which has an ancient castle adjoined by a cluster of listed buildings, is 20 minutes' drive away. Windsor Castle takes 35 minutes by car, as does Ascot Racecourse, which hosts events throughout the year such as open-air movies, firework displays and Christmas fairs. The sprawling South Downs National Park takes 15 minutes by car.
Renowned for its aviation heritage and international air show (held every two years in July), it's no surprise that Farnborough is home to an aircraft museum. The Farnborough Air Sciences Trust Museum is free to enter (open from 10am-4pm on weekends only), and is within a 20-minute walk. There's a working wind tunnel and records of the pioneering developments in commercial and military aviation. You can also visit Aldershot Military Museum (15 minutes' drive) to learn more about the British Army.
If you're feeling adventurous, drive 40 minutes to Thorpe Park Resort or to Chessington World of Adventures. You can also zip wire through Swinley Forest at Go Ape Bracknell, which is 20 minutes away by car.
Apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, and one-bedroom apartments have a work space. There is a weekly housekeeping service and a breakfast pack, including cereal, milk, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, is provided on arrival. A key code is sent after booking, allowing guests to check themselves in on arrival.
