The hotel is a 1-minute walk from Liverpool Street station, which is served by the Central, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City Lines. The Stansted Express has regular trains into the station. Valet parking is £45 per 24 hours (book at least a day in advance with the hotel). The public London Wall car park is around a 15-minute walk from the hotel and costs approximately £15 per vehicle, per 24 hours.

As well as walking in the footsteps of celebrities such as Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, guests at the 5-star Andaz London Liverpool Street will be within 20 minutes of two of the London's most popular Christmas markets -- the Southbank Centre Winter Festical and Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.

The riverside Southbank Centre Winter Festival (11 November-25 January) has approximately 80 chalets, sellinga range of festive food, drink and gifts. To get to the market, jump on the Central line at Liverpool Street Tube station and change at Bank for the Waterloo & City line. The market is a 5-minute walk from Waterloo station.

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park (10am-10pm, 18 November-2 January) has an array of Christmas stalls, an ice skating rink, an ice bar, a 60-metre-high wheel and a festive circus. Book ahead, though, as the attractions are all very popular. You can reach Hyde Park via the Central line from Liverpool Street, alighting at Marble Arch -- Winter Wonderland is a 5-minute walk from there.

Hello! magazine calls Andaz London Liverpool Street an "architectural masterpiece -- made up of a red brick Victorian exterior juxtaposed with a sleek and trendy modern interior".

This property has six restaurants, including Eastway Brasserie and Miyako, both of which have an AA Rosette. The former specialises in meats on the grill and the latter serves Japanese food. There are five bars including the 1901 Wine Lounge, which has over 160 wines. Breakfast is served in the Grade II-listed 1901 Restaurant.

All guests get access to the 24-hour health club, which has a gym and a steam room. In-room spa treatments are available for an additional cost (must be booked in advance). Wi-Fi is free.

Old Spitalfields Market, which has been running since the 13th century, and 30 St Mary Axe, better known as The Gherkin, are both around five minutes' walk from the hotel. Other local highlights include St Paul's Cathedral.

We love the stark contrast of the Victorian façade against the sleek interiors, with a 6-storey atrium that resembles New York's Guggenheim Museum.

Enjoyed Most: N/A Checking the relevant sections below but none of them relate to what actually happened on the day, or my actual experience, therefore I'm now getting annoyed, because I'm trying to give you open and honest feedback but I'm forced to answer questions that I shouldn't be asked, in this situation. And now it will have to be all negative feedback in a hope that someone takes note and responds accordingly.
Other Comments: Hello, It wasn't the fact that I was disappointed with the hotel, the issue was that I never stayed at the hotel in the first place, as my wife took ill on the day and we were unable to travel. I did give the hotel a courtesy call to let them know I was not coming but the lady on the central booking line was not very professional and put me through to a different hotel when asked, I felt she just wanted to clear me off the line ASAP without understanding my needs fully. When I did get through to the correct hotel reception, again they were quite abrupt in saying that I would need to contact TravelZoo as they were unable to issue a refund. I mentioned that I understood that and I was not looking for a refund from them, I was just giving them a courtesy call to let them know we would not be staying with them that evening. Hence the easy of booking two stars below purely relates to these comments. In addition to the above, I'm now trying to submit my feedback, but I'm unable to without
