What You Need to Know
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made prior to 5 p.m. local time, 7 days before arrival to receive a refund of the total stay deposit (room, tax and service fee), minus a $25 cancellation fee
- 2-night minimum stay required
- For Two-Queen Rooms: Price based on up to 2 guests sharing a room. Call +1 570-685-8000 with your confirmation number if you wish to add guests to your reservation. Charges will be added to your bill directly at the hotel
- For Private Homes: Price based on maximum occupancy listed in room descriptions; our system only allows reservations for up to 5 guests—rest assured; additional guests can be accommodated up to the maximum occupancy in room descriptions
- Children 2 and under stay free of charge when using existing hotel bedding
- A service charge fee of 18% plus tax, per room, per night will be added to the total price at checkout; this fee covers gratuities for all service staff (with the exception of luggage and cocktail bar staff)

Why We Love This Hotel
- There are year-round activities galore. You have golfing and hiking, as well as trivia, movies and games (scheduled daily)
- The vacation homes are 2 miles from the main resort. But they come equipped with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. That includes kitchens, washers/dryers, housewares and linens. Plus, guests have access to all of the facilities and activities of the main resort
- Nearby Masthope Mountain offers a number of multi-use trails. And Masthope stable has a herd of horses for trail rides, private lessons and more
- Did we mention the spa? Guests can indulge at Woodloch's nearby sister resort (for an additional cost)

This was our 2nd time booking Woodloch through TravelZoo. It is a beautiful property with so many things to do whether you like the outdoors or just like to chill and play some fun games and eat great meals. I rated the service only 3 stars because of a disappointing experience in the dining room. Our server spilled a glass of orange juice on me at breakfast and was really nonchalant about the whole thing. All she did was hand me a damp rag and offered a half-hearted apology. As courteous and accommodating as we have found every single staff member both times we have been there, it was a bit of a surprise.

It is a very active resort with a lot of kids, so consider if that is what you are looking for when you book. If you're taking a family or don't mind some distracting kids during shows, etc. then Woodloch would be a good getaway for you.

A bit off the beaten path - about 40 minutes from interstate , mostly on country roads
Basically a family resort, old- time atmosphere. Good basic meals - not fancy but more than adequate. Great location on a lake. Plenty of boating activities available. Nice beach plus both indoor and outdoor pools. Plenty of activities and equipment for youngsters of all ages.
Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, probably the best we've ever experienced. Everyone from management through the rest of the staff made you feel so welcome.
They have started to update the rooms - ours was gorgeous.
Overall, a great experience. Just realize the type of resort this is, don't go looking for a Vegas weekend.

I believe it's a family run resort and it shows. They really try to connect with their guests.
Also very appreciative of the shuttle service between buildings, especially for us seniors.

The accommodations were lovely with a beautiful view of the lake. Nice amenities in the room also. Too many bugs on the terrace though so we couldn’t enjoy that.

The menu for dinner was a bit disappointing. To offer fried chicken and fried shrimp when there are only 5 choices to me makes no sense. I opted for the papardele bolognese which was just ok.

This was the best weekend getaway vacation my husband and I have taken. It was a very relaxing getaway.

The food at the resort was amazing. They give you lots of delicious fresh food. Our server, Sergiou, was really great! He was very friendly and attentive. The resort offers a variety of activities for all ages which is hard to find at other resorts. Thaddeus, who was the game show host for several of the game activities was funny and personable. He made it really fun! Also, I requested a tour of the rental homes and Tracy gave us a tour. She was also very personable and knowledgeable. Almost all of the employees at the resort were very friendly, smiling and making us feel welcome. Sadly there was one employee (elderly lady) at the deli shop who seemed as if she was not having a good day. Other than that, we were very pleased with everyone and everything else at the resort . We are definitely planning on coming back! Thank you for a great time!

This property is so beautiful and very well kept. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. We did not come across a single person on staff in our 3-day stay that was not super helpful and very friendly in spite of experiencing major computer issues while we were there. For the first 2 days, we could not get room keys and a staff person was stationed in each hallway to let us in our room. I'm sure it was a nightmare for them but the guests would not have known it. This place knows some kind of secret when it comes to hiring the right people, Meals were delicious and plentiful, activities to suit every taste and we cannot wait to return,

"Just Plain Rick", our shuttle driver, was the absolute best. Gave us a full tour the first day and a lot of insider tips.
