This oceanfront AAA 4-Diamond destination earns spots on both Travel + Leisure's World's Best Hotels list and Condé Nast Traveler's list of Top 10 Florida Resorts. Nearly all of the resort's 330 rooms, suites and villas feature Atlantic ocean views, and there's plenty to do for families, golfers and folks looking for an escape away from the usual Florida resort destinations.

Lodge rooms offer views overlooking the golf course with the ocean in the distance and king or queen bed options. Main Tower Suites are closer to the water park, spa and beach, and come furnished with a separate bedroom, bathroom, living area with sleeper sofa, a large kitchen/dining space and a laundry room. Condos in The Villas are a short jaunt from the main resort building, offering a touch more privacy. All rooms feature marble entryways, walk-in showers and private balconies.

With nearly two and a half miles of private beach, there's plenty of room to stretch out on the sand, but additional aquatic options include a multi-level swim pavilion with poolside bar and an indoor atrium pool. For golfers, the Jack Nicklaus-designed Ocean Course has six holes that run along the coastline, while the Conservatory Course sits on 140 acres of land that features multiple manmade lakes and waterfalls; it's also one of the hardest courses in the state.

There's lots of dining options, from alfresco poolside dining and Italian classics to sushi and fine dining, as well as cocktails and billiards in the lounge -- there's even a cigar bar with a walk-in humidor and a selection of cognacs and single-malt scotches. While dad's hanging out there, send the young ones (4-12) to Kids Crew, which organizes scavenger hunts, beach games and pool activities.

From the Press:
  • "Most of the 330 rooms have private, ocean-facing balconies perfect for soaking in the sea air or watching the waves" (Travel + Leisure)
  • "Located on a beautiful stretch of private beach on the Palm Coast surrounded by sprawling and immaculately maintained grounds" (

Totally disappointed with Delphino and Loggerhead restaurants. Overpriced. Slow kitchen. Slow service. Potato soup was not cooked through. Tiki bar food to go was fine.

It's a slice of paradise along the busy Florida coast, very secluded and pristine. The staff were all very personable and accommodating.

People working were friendly. Room itself was nice. Sushi Bar was very good. I know they were affected by the hurricane, but certain things should have been addressed.

accommadations were good. Outside our room for our entire stay was a pile of drapes, wood, and other paraphenalia which was pointed out to a manager who did not do anything about. We were not picked up at the beach after being told it would take 20 minutes because they did not have anyone. We walked back, and there were 3 people at the bellstand not doing anything. Ausual 4 hour round of golf at the conservatory, took 5 hours and there was no ranger to keep play moving. We waited on every shot.Manager we talked to about the problems seemed receptive, but did not do anything apparently. I would go back and recommend the hotel if these things were directly addressed to my satisfaction.

Very, very nice facilities -- swimming pools were beautiful, grounds were well kept, our condo was in excellent condition.
Other Comments
Very, very large resort. Lots of rooms and condos. It can be a long walk to the pools and beach from the condos. Not much to do or shopping close by.

Lovely location, however recently suffered the effect of a hurricane the effects of which were visible everywhere -golf course, pools, beach and landscaping. Even the main spa was not working.
Other Comments
Our accommodation was not available due to the hurricane so we were transferred to the main tower. The bed and bathroom were lovely but the rest of the suite needed upgrading. The furniture and TV's were old and many of the drawers and cupboards were broken. To eat and drink on site was very expensive. All staff without exception were very friendly and helpful.
