With large picture windows featuring views of the lake or city skyline, guest rooms are bright, modern and and luxurious. Thoughtful extras like terry robes, slippers, twice-daily maid service and plush bedding make even the most basic rooms feel luxurious. All rooms come standard with high-speed Wi-Fi and Nespresso coffee machines. Suites feature additional niceties like walk-in closets, access to the Club Lounge and expansive layouts. The Club Lounge gives guests exclusive access to an elegant breakfast, all-day refreshments and a concierge in the property’s new 2,600-square-foot lounge. Children are treated to kid-sized robes, tear-free toiletries and visits from the candy man, touring the hallways with a cart teeming with sweets.
Guests have access to the hotel’s new fitness center with cardio machines looking out at Lake Michigan from behind floor-to-ceiling windows. Yoga, Zumba, Pilates and more exercise classes are offered for a fee.
On the hotel’s twelfth floor, the Italian steakhouse, Torali, service classic fare while the bar features an Old World-inspired cocktail list. In summertime, the rooftop bar is packed with hotel guests and Chicago’s social elite. On humid days, the alfresco bar offers sundaes at an ice cream cart.
