TRYP by Wyndham Times Square South is a chicly converted office block in Midtown Manhattan, with a focus on high-tech facilities, family rooms (a rarity in New York) and friendly staff.
It is well placed for sightseeing -- Times Square is a 10-minute walk away, and it’s just around the corner from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. The Macy's flagship store, two blocks away, provides ample shopping options, and the legendary Shake Shack is a short walk up Eighth Avenue for top-notch fast food.
Reflecting the TRYP group’s Spanish roots (this was their first property in the U.S.), the hotel’s trendy Gastro Bar at 35th restaurant serves tapas alongside American classics and is popular with guests and locals. This may be due to its daily happy hour from 4-11pm, when drinks start at $6. A full European buffet breakfast is served here in the mornings, and live music is performed on Thursday evenings.
Bedrooms are large for New York, with rainforest showers in the bathrooms, and some come with balconies. Higher room types also have wet bars and fridges in the living areas.

Cot/crib available on request, free of charge for children under 2. Extra bed available on request and in Deluxe King, Premium and Family rooms only: $35 per night (subject to tax) for children over 2 and adults. Charges will be added to your bill on checkout.
Pets: Pets are allowed on request (max weight is 25lbs) and will be charged a $40 per night (subject to tax) non-refundable pet fee on checkout.
