The Schofield, a Kimpton Hotel
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- Cleveland's first Kimpton hotel, opened in 2016 after a $50 million renovation
- The pet-friendly hotel features perks like a nightly wine hour
- A five-minute drive to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
After spending $50 million to update a historic building from 1902, Kimpton's Schofield Hotel "is for the cool cats in the crowd" (Lonely Planet) thanks to things like fun and colorful artwork, art-deco inspired furniture and even a collection of comic books in the lobby.
A range of complimentary Kimpton perks come standard, including complimentary bike rentals for trips around town, a yoga mat in every room and free wine in the evenings in the lobby's Living Room bar. Like all other Kimptons, the Schofield is extremely pet friendly -- no additional fees for your furry friend to stay with you.
Rooms feature pillowtop beds, Victorian-inspired artwork and a lightbox with adjustable letters that let you leave a message for the next guest. Local touches are a hallmark of the Kimpton brand -- here, they include the local craft beers guests can grab from the minibars in their room and free guitar rentals for jam sessions before or after trips to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame just up the street.
