The Grand Hotel Gaziantep's central location makes this modern hotel a convenient base for exploring the city's cultural attractions and its more contemporary draws, such as its shopping malls.
The hilltop Gaziantep Castle (also known as the Kale), which is thought to have been built by the Romans and then subsequently rebuilt in later centuries, is just two kilometres from the hotel. The Gaziantep Zeugma Mosaic Museum is a similar distance away and houses a world-class collection of beautifully preserved mosaics.
There are a number of places to enjoy Turkish and international cuisine at the hotel. Situated on the 12th floor, the à la carte Safir Restaurant specialises in seafood and has views of the city, while the Balcony Restaurant has a large terrace for al fresco dining. The Nitro Breakfast Hall serves a buffet breakfast featuring international favourites and local delicacies. The Mola Piano Bar is open daily for drinks and snacks, and the Grande Club & Bar is a nightclub with music from the resident DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. Leisure amenities include a gym, and a spa with a sauna, a steam room and a small pool.
Contemporary rooms are decorated with a colour scheme of cream and beige with accents of gold. There are 95 rooms at the hotel, including two connected family rooms. Some have city views.
