Newly opened in March 2016, Vincci The Mint is a smartly design hotel, within walking distance of Madrid's Art Triangle in the city center.
The hotel is on the Gran Vía, just around the corner from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum -- "one of the most extraordinary private collections of predominantly European art in the world" (Lonely Planet). Stroll just 15-minutes to the Museo del Prado, which showcases art collected by the Spanish royal family or 20-minutes to the Centro de Arte Reina Sofía -- "a must for art fans", says Time Out, near Madrid's Atocha train station.
The hotel has a rooftop terrace overlooking the Gran Vía, where there is an outdoor pool and a foodtruck for snacks (open May-October). There's also a Gastrobar on the ground floor, where breakfast is served, and drinks and snacks are available.
The hotel has 88 brightly colored rooms, each with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Deluxe rooms are larger than the more basic Double rooms, and have views overlooking Gran Vía.
