OD Ocean Drive
Why We Love This Hotel
- This “smart but not shouty” (The Daily Telegraph) hotel is opposite trendy Marina Botafoch
- Talamanca Beach is a short stroll away and Ibiza Old Town is around 25 minutes’ walk
- There’s a Mediterranean restaurant with a terrace
- The rooftop bar overlooks the sea and features regular DJ nights
Set on the waterfront opposite the hip shops and restaurants lining Marina Botafoch, the OD Ocean Drive occupies a striking white-painted Art Deco-style building, lit up at night in distinctive neon blue. “Smallish and discreet” (The Daily Telegraph), the hotel is a few minutes’ walk from picturesque Talamanca Beach. Legendary nightclubs Lio and Pacha are approximately 10 minutes’ walk away and Ibiza Old Town, with its winding cobblestone streets and historic architecture, is around a 25-minute walk from the hotel.
“A slick urban vibe” (The Daily Telegraph) characterises OD Ocean Drive’s interiors, which include a chic lobby lounge with retro leather furnishings, and a restaurant that serves modern Mediterranean cuisine and opens onto a terrace. Guests can also sip cocktails on the hotel’s snazzy rooftop bar, which hosts regular big-name DJs and offers an “outstanding view of the Mediterranean Sea” (ViaMichelin).
The 40 guestrooms have “a minimalistic exclusive design style” (ViaMichelin), decorated in warm earth tones and hung with black-and-white photographs of the island. All the rooms come with free Wi-Fi, TVs and mini bars. Higher-price rooms add sea views, while suites include iPads, iPod docks and coffee machines, plus separate lounge areas and smart cars for personal use.
