The Westin Charlotte is ideally outfitted as a business hotel, but its proximity to museums, stadiums and fine dining options, make this a great option for leisure travelers as well.
The hotel's height affords fantastic views of the Charlotte skyline, and its third floor indoor pool and sundeck offer a space to unwind year-round. Although the pool is narrow, it's warm and great for kids.
The Westin is near a number of tourist attractions: Charlotte City Hall and Time Warner Cable Arena are under a 20-minute walk and just a five-minute drive; the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Bank of America Stadium and Bechtler Museum of Modern Art are less than a 10-minute walk.
A stop for the LYNX light rail is inside the hotel, making it easy to get around town. There's also a Starbucks on-site for a coffee fix and two bars for evening nightcaps. The hotel's restaurants and bars can get busy during convention time, but a few steps from the hotel are restaurants and grocery stores.
