Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Seattle Center
Why We Love This Hotel
- Budget-friendly, no-frills accommodations just outside of Seattle's city center
- Some of the big, Wi-Fi equipped rooms here have views of the Space Needle
- The 24-hour fitness center has lots of new machines
- Guests can have breakfast and dinner by a big cozy fireplace in the aptly named Fireside Cafe
This low-key, family-friendly hotel isn't quite in downtown Seattle, but it's only a 10-minute walk from the heart of it. Running along Highway 99, it offers easy driving access to surrounding attractions like the Woodland Park Zoo and many of the city's famous parks.
Big rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi and are a good size for families, though light sleepers should either request ear plugs at check-in or opt for west-facing rooms as highway noise can be a problem here. Business or long-term guests will appreciate modern equipment in the 24-hour gym as well as a business center and meeting room.
There isn't much by way of restaurants or nightlife in the immediate area, but the on-site Fireside Cafe serves reasonably priced breakfast and dinner in a cozy space with a quaint fireplace. There are a few other cozy spots with fireplaces here too, like the lobby and the nicely landscaped outdoor courtyard.
