Other Comments: The set up of the room could have been better. I had one queen bed but also a dining room table for 6 without a kitchen. There were no windows and the tv was so small and far away from the bed. The only couch was set up away from the tv. Poor design of the room. It could have been great.

Enjoyed Most: Really nice dining area
Other Comments: Dirty bathtub and bathroom sink; disturbing neighbors and lack of staff reaction to 3 am yelling in the hallways

Enjoyed Most: history of the old station, close to Steamtown rail museum and downtown. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to visit Scranton.
Other Comments: housekeeping: I'll put more tissues in your room if I have them on the cart or you'll have to wait for the evening crew. I'm not going all the way downstairs to get them. Service in "Trax" cafe was slow.

Enjoyed Most: It was very beautiful and impressive as we walked into the hotel.
Other Comments: Our room was cavern like with only a small window way above the height for usual windows.

Enjoyed Most: It was a joy to walk around the beautiful lobby, read the history displayed and be a part of the history of our country. We are very thankful that it was decided to restore and bring to life such a great building.

Enjoyed Most: We thoroughly enjoyed the historical décor of this hotel. The marble and columns were just amazing. It was very easy to picture train travelers coming in and out of this beautiful train station in times gone by. Glad to see that it is being utilized in today's modern world. We were thrilled that we were granted early check-in and our TravelZoo room was upgraded to a King Business Suite. The entire hotel (Radisson) has been going through a complete renovation and is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2016. So, we were given a room upgrade to a room that had many of the new renovations. The furniture in the room and some of the accessories were still the older ones, but when all the renovations are completed, I believe the new contemporary look will be enjoyed by all!
Other Comments: We had dinner in the Trax Platform Bar and Grill, and the food was excellent! It has a nice atmosphere and we were here on a Saturday night, so there were a lot of people at the bar and seated for dinner. It is a casual atmosphere and we had a great time. Our waiter was excellent. My husband got the burger and really enjoyed it. I got the beet and strawberry spinach salad and it was excellent! The dressing for the salad was amazing!

Enjoyed Most: The history of the hotel.
Other Comments: Definitely visit the Steamtown Museum. Very interesting.
Jackie Feb 28, 2016 Rockville Centre, NY, United States
Enjoyed Most: Beautiful main floor, excellent restaurant, enormous and well-stocked bar.
Other Comments: We stayed overnight at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel after seeing it featured on TravelZoo. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so improvements are under way. For instance, there was no art work on the bedroom walls. The towels, however, were terrific and the bed was very comfortable. Carmens Restaurant served excellent dinner and breakfast, and the martinis in the Trax Bar were ample and tasty. We look forward to stopping here again.

Enjoyed Most: Convenient location, comfortable beds
Other Comments: The bathroom was very small compared with comparably priced alternatives.
