The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from Princes Street, the historic Old Town and the city centre's main tourist, shopping and business districts, yet has a "genuinely quiet setting", says The Daily Telegraph.
You'll be in the hub of the action with the Festival Theatre across the road, the National Museum around the corner and the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace all around a 15-minute walk away. If you're feeling energetic, the start of the path up to Arthur's Seat is a 13-minute walk away -- the round trip takes approximately 90 minutes.
This part-Georgian, part-modern hotel has 77 bedrooms in warm tones, with air conditioning, flatscreen TVs with freeview, a choice of soft or firm mattress and free Wi-Fi throughout.
"Stylish bedrooms and bathrooms are complemented by a range of welcoming and comfortable public areas," says The AA Hotel Guide 2017. Head to the popular 10 Wine Bar for an extensive selection of wines, local beers and spirits.
