"My husband and I came here for our 25th anniversary. What a beautiful bed and breakfast. We had the best time just relaxing by the river and in the gardens sipping cocktails. Every staff member is nicer than the next so accommodating. We will visit again soon."

Cute and cozy inn - we booked a queen room and it was way too small. HOT TIP: book King bed room. Our friends did and had a nice size room with fireplace. Staff was lovely - free wine tasting the two nights we stayed. Food was average. Breakfast included was good value.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds are beautifully done, the garden, back area with fire pit although there was an event so we didn’t get to enjoy the area. Enjoyed your daily events to participate if we chose to do so. Our room was very nice, although the bathroom towel bar was in need of repair, it was hanging on one side so we couldn’t put a towel on it for fear of it totaling coming off the wall. The bathroom sink looked dirty although it wasn’t, it is just chipped and cracks are emerging from age I guess. Needs a little upgrade perhaps. Overall, we would join you again and look forward to it in the future! Thank you.

Love the daily fire and the wine tasting. Also the daily breakfast were amazing! Room was much too small though.

The inn is charming! The common spaces and rooms are beautifully decorated, and the gardens and outdoor spaces are amazing! It was mild enough to eat several of our meals on the outdoor terrace overlooking the terrace and that was the best. The included breakfast was great, and dinners and cocktails there were also perfect. We’d definitely go again!

Enjoyed our stay at Settler’s Inn located in the Pocono region of Pennsylvania. Convenient location near Lake Wallenpaupack that has a lot to offer. Nice inn with very friendly staff. King room had jacuzzi tub but there was no in-room refrigerator. Breakfast included, somewhat limited selection. Did not have dinner there. Beautiful gardens & grounds near river.
Other Comments
Photo near river is a bit deceiving. There currently is no river access behind inn.

As usual, a great stay in a lovely, quiet room. The arts and crafts decor are beautifully and lovingly tended. The staff is very professional and helpful.
