Enjoyed Most: Was nice to get away to such a lovely hotel close to home.
Other Comments: Being a sporting fanatic, clearer TV reception would have been nicer.

Enjoyed Most: The food in the O Bistro along with the service was great.
Other Comments: It had been a while since we stayed at the Oswego and thought we would give it another try. The drawbacks are noise (busy street for trucks and buses) and seagulls walking us up at the crack of dawn. Since there is no air conditioning, you need to open windows and that opens up the noise factor. The fitness facility is small but adequate, however the elliptical machine was not operational which only left the bike and treadmill. Lastly, our package was to include two glasses of wine (valued at $15) and a Charcuterie Plate (valued at $25). The wine was a 3 1/4 oz. glass, okay with that, but the Charcuterie Plate was only a sample worth no more than $5. We went to the restaurant and ordered the $25 plate, it was huge and definitely not what we received in the room. That is until our last night (stayed 4 nights and complained after the first night about the Charcuterie Plate), we received what I would have expected each night to be a fair representation.

Enjoyed Most: Great hotel and beautiful rooms, good location
Other Comments: We were in a noisy suite and the remote control was filthy. Minor details.

Enjoyed Most: We loved our room! A water view would have been nice, but not complaining. Only one thing that was a turn off- long hair found on bathroom floor next to tub- kind of grossed out about that. But still we would stay again, was close to walk around to anythng we wanted to see!
Other Comments: chambermaids could take a bit extra care.

Enjoyed Most: The place was lovely, the restaurant was great, the view from our room of James Bay and the Olympic Mtns was spectacular! And, our mini-schnauzer was treated like a king! Walking distance to just about everything you would want to see in Victoria.
Linda Apr 30, 2013 Seattle, Washington, United States
Enjoyed Most: Lovely suites with excellent amenities, great central location, full service kitchen and helpful staff.
Other Comments: The Charcuterie plate ($25 value) was quite nice but VERY small. The checkout process is still unresolved as billing issues were encountered and the weekend staff was unable to correct. We were billed for extra taxes and service charges that were included in the amount paid to Travelzoo.....
