The family-friendly Hapimag Mas Nou resort on Spain's Costa Brava is situated on a plateau within the Club Golf d'Aro golf club, and boasts far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Platja d'Aro, with its sandy beach, bars and restaurants is about a 13-minute drive from the resort. Its golf-club location is an obvious draw for golfers, and the hotel can arrange professional instruction for all levels.
Aside from golf, the resort is a good base for exploring the region's historic villages, and for excursions further afield, to destinations such as Barcelona, which is about 90 minutes away by road. Girona meanwhile, with its ancient walls, bustling street cafés and boutiques is around 45 kilometres away. Due to the resort's rural location, a car is recommended.
On site, there's a supermarket and leisure facilities including a seasonal outdoor pool (April to October) and an indoor pool that's open year round. There's a pool bar that serves snacks, salads and drinks in summer. The resort's main restaurant, La Brasa, is open every evening and serves regional dishes including fresh seafood. The Sports Bar is open for drinks year round, and serves snacks in the cooler months.
The resort is built in the typical regional style, and has 190 well-equipped 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments with traditional décor. Each has its own balcony or terrace.
