Holiday Inn Norwich
Why We Love This Hotel
- Close to Norwich airport -- the ideal pit stop before a flight
- Norwich city centre and the Norfolk Broads are also close to the hotel
- Guests have free access to the on-site health club
The Holiday Inn Norwich is ideally located for an overnight stay before a flight -- it’s just six miles from the airport and three miles from Norwich city centre. The Norfolk Broads National Park -- a network of navigable rivers and lakes in Norfolk and Suffolk -- is approximately 30 minutes away by car, as is the coastal town of Great Yarmouth.
Visit Norwich Castle, built by the Normans as a royal palace 900 years ago, or take a free tour around the city’s cathedral and its grounds. Norwich is the only English city to be named a UNESCO City of Literature, with many independent book shops plus a number of literary events during the autumn and spring.
As well as a health club with an indoor heated pool, a gym and a sauna, the Holiday Inn Norwich has a restaurant and a lounge bar. The restaurant serves brasserie fare -- typical dishes include peri-peri chicken, grilled salmon with harissa yoghurt, and a British cheese plate. An English or continental breakfast is available. Accompanied under-13s eat for free.
Standard Bedrooms are spacious and offer individually controlled air conditioning and 24-hour room service. There’s a surcharge for Wi-Fi for non IHG members. Executive Rooms come with extras such as bathrobes and mini bars, while Family Rooms have a double bed and one or two sofa beds.
