"Welcome to Little Italy," proclaims the sign around the corner from NobleDEN. Tucked between historic red brick buildings, this boutique hotel offers modern comforts amid old-school neighborhood charm.
A modern steel and glass facade opens into a welcoming lobby with cozy red and black decor. Elevators off the intimate lobby lead to 54 guest rooms upstairs.
All-new guest rooms feature hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek white desks and fixtures. Pops of red fabric reflect the warmth of the lobby. Standard king rooms are average by New York City standards -- 195-210 square feet -- but may feel tight to out-of-towners.
While at the hotel, guests can take advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi and bottled water.
Many of the city's attractions await right outside the hotel's front doors: the shops of SoHo are five minutes east on Broadway, Chinese dumplings and dim sum are two blocks away in Chinatown, and the lively nightlife and iconic restaurants (like Katz's Deli and Russ and Daughters) of the Lower East Side are a five-minute walk to the west. For further exploration of the New York boroughs, seven subway lines are within a four-block radius.
