Agriturismo Relais Campiglioni
About the Hotel
Why We Love This Hotel
- Agriturismo Relais Campiglioni is in the famous Tuscan wine region of Chianti
- The estate's two swimming pools overlook this "postcard-perfect part of Tuscany" (Lonely Planet)
- Florence and Siena are both an hour's drive away
Agriturismo Relais Campiglioni is nestled in the Chianti Hills, where "immaculately maintained rows of vines snake down hillsides and criss-crossing vineyards hug contrasting contour lines" (Lonely Planet).
The farmhouse estate is an ideal base from which to explore Tuscany's countryside and cities. Florence is an hour's drive north -- visit the Piazza del Duomo, where the Gothic cathedral inlaid with pink, white and green marble soars above the surrounding buildings. Siena, with its "narrow streets and steep alleys, Gothic Duomo, and bounty of early Renaissance art" (Fodor's), is often described as Italy's best-preserved medieval city. It is an hour's drive south of the estate.
Agriturismo Relais Campiglioni covers 20 hectares and has its own vineyard and olive grove, producing red and white wine, olive oil and vin santo. With this deal, guests get a free tour and wine tasting at Cantalici, 20 minutes' drive from the hotel, and Castello di Brolio, 30 minutes' drive from the hotel (once per stay; transport not included).
The estate also has two swimming pools, which are open until 15 October, along with private gazebos, a hot tub and a sun terrace. You can also hire a bike at the hotel, and a babysitting service is available (supplements apply).
The main farmhouse has four apartments and six ensuite double bedrooms. Guests can also stay in the 2-storey barn. All rooms have wooden beams and exposed brick. Wi-Fi is free.
