"We were lucky to have a nice day so my partner enjoyed his round of golf at the Brabazon. The room was lovely and equipped with everything you would need, and the Breakfast was amazing! Hot Buffet style, Cereals, lots of fresh fruit, and meat/rolls and pastries. The swimming area was nice too"

The Belfry is a 4-star resort set in a sprawling estate, a world away from the hustle and bustle of Birmingham, yet still within 20 minutes' drive of the vibrant city centre, and the cathedral city of Lichfield.

The Belfry Spa has 16 relaxing treatment rooms and offers a range of treatments. The Fire & Ice experience features a series of 12 bio-thermal rooms including a foot spa, feature showers, an aroma cave, a sauna, an igloo room, a crystal steam room and a tranquility room (the Fire & Ice treatment times will be allocated by the hotel, and could be offered on the day of arrival or the day of departure). There is also a fitness centre and a spinning studio.

Golf fans will be in for a treat, as The Belfry has hosted the Ryder Cup more times than any other venue and is home to England's only PGA National Golf Academy. Guests can choose from three different courses (handicap restrictions apply for The Brabazon and PGA National courses), which are easily accessed by a fleet of GPS-equipped electric buggies. Budding golfers can try out the Ryder Legends Mini Golf course. Golf lessons and team golf days can also be arranged on request (extra charges apply).

You can relax in Sam's Club House with snacks, beers and sports on the big screen, or dine at the elegant Ryder Grill and Kitchen. Rocca's Pizza Pasta restaurant serves Italian classics in a casual environment, while the glass-domed Brabazon Bar is the perfect spot for afternoon tea or an aperitif.

Signature Rooms are inspired by the diamond pattern of the Pringle golf jumper, with modern furnishings in neutral colours. Wi-Fi is free.

We were put in a disabled friendly room which wasnt a problem, but personally didnt like the wet room as everything got wet when we had a shower. and also we arrived at the Sports Bar on the Monday Night, just before 10.30pm, and took a seat and then they called time and switched all the TVs off straight away. I work in a pub so understand that you want people to leave quick, but it wouldve been nice of the staff to say that they were just about to close, we had both had a meal in one of the other onsite restaurants and were quite full, however we ordered a pint each but probably wouldnt have if we were told we had to rush them.

the facilities were great.. restaurants, bars & lounge areas very clean with efficient helpful staff. we didn't have time to do or see everything and were unable to play golf because of the snow but thoroughly enjoyed the spa instead.

Was very disappointed with the huge amount of business happening in public areas. It made having a drink difficult on a number of occasions

Relaxed atmosphere and value for money (a part from the price of drinks!) Was very welcoming.

The only thing that lets the Belfry down is the price of drinks. I feel £30+ for a bottle of wine & £7+ for 175ml glass is excessive!!
