Frankfurt, set on Germany’s River Main, is ″a true capital of finance and business″ (Lonely Planet), and the NH Frankfurt Messe hotel is in the ideal location to explore all that the city has to offer. The hotel’s pretty outside garden terrace offers a lovely escape from the busy city and it’s less than a 15-minute walk from the Palmengarten, the largest botanic gardens in Germany.
Frankfurt Central Station is also a short walk from the hotel, providing a link to Frankfurt Airport in around 25 minutes. The MesseTurm (a landmark skyscraper with a 3-storey pyramid) is a 3-minute walk away, close to the Festhalle/Messe Underground station, while the Senckenberg Natural History Museum is a 9-minute walk away. The Maintower (Frankfurt’s highest viewpoint) is a mile from the hotel.
The NH Frankfurt Messe has a bright and airy, wood-panelled breakfast room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city. The garden terrace is particularly pretty at night when it’s lit up with table lamps. There’s also a stylish lobby bar with an extensive drinks menu.
Standard Rooms have free Wi-Fi and mini bars. The contemporary décor contrasts well with the bright accents of green on the brocade wallpaper and flat-screen TV surround. Junior Suites are larger and include luxurious extras such as a Nespresso machine. They also have a balcony and a separate living area.
