A recently polished gem within San Diego’s Golden Triangle, the modern San Diego Marriott La Jolla offers stylish rooms equipped for both business and leisure travelers. Just east of upscale La Jolla near the University of California at San Diego, the Golden Triangle area was given its name for the triangle shape of its freeway borders, which provide quick access to downtown San Diego (15 minutes away) and local beaches (fewer than 10 minutes away).
All rooms feature flat screen televisions, luxury linens and fresh furnishings.Rooms include floor-to-ceiling windows and some have balconies overlooking La Jolla Cove. Upgrade to the concierge level and breakfast, beverages, snacks and access to a private lounge are built into the room rate.
Onsite amenities include a fitness center and outdoor pool. A buffet breakfast or a la carte options can be found at Fresh in the lobby. Amuse, the on-site restaurant, serves lunch, dinner and local craft brews indoors or on the patio. Daily happy hours include discounted drinks and appetizers. La Jolla Social offers a casual bar and grill atmosphere with salsa dancing and billiards in the evenings.
A skywalk connects the property to the University Towne Centre’s dining and entertainment. The boutique shops and art galleries at La Jolla Shores are eight minutes away by car and SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo are fewer than 20 minutes away.
