The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The soap and hair care was my least favorite, but not a big deal. Overall good stay.

The bedspread in the suite wa attractive.

The suite we got was one of the smallest hotel rooms we have ever had. I had chosen to pay $20 more per night fora suite with a view for our three night stay. The view was over the entrance roof to the freeway then the mountains. We requested a normal room with two beds thinking it would be larger and it was. It also had a view of the mountains. We had that for one night. The welcome drink was a glass of wine with a few chips and salsa. The breakfast was ok but the setting didn't work for comfortable sitting.

I upgraded to a Sunset Mini Suite and they all face the East go figure. The full breakfast was jusa continental breakfast. We arrived 30min after they opened the fruit and rolls were all gone and they would not bring out more. The had dry cereal but no milk, they did bring milk and water out after we ate. Because they did not have a sunset view, we changed rooms, one with twin beds. I sat down on the end of the bed and the other end came up in the air. Scared the hell out of me. We changed to an inside room with two queen size beds which was not to bad. The people were nice but I would not go back.

The offerings was impressive from small to big appetite, biscochito (anise)muffins and tasty pinto beans added NM fare to the breakfast table. The isolation from downtown busyness brought the vividness of natural surroundings - mountain and open sky, trails. The shuttle is a plus granted you request it at the time you make lodging reservation.
Other Comments
Shuttle service has limited hours (10am-4pm) as drivers are part-time employees as informed by one of drivers. Negotiate outside those hours if needed so driver can be available.

The hotel is nicely decorated and we enjoyed the bar staff and the delicious Spinach & Artichoke dip.

The initial check-in service with the desk staff was not good. We booked a room online and then confirmed our reservation a week prior to our visit. When we arrived we were given a "pet friendly" room which is not what we requested. The desk person told us they were sold out and gave us a handicap room instead. The room was okay but we did not like her attitude and the information we were given from Joshua of whom we confirmed our room, was not correct upon our arrival. The room was close to the hotel staff pantry area and at 2:30am, we were awaken and heard them stacking plates and making noise down from our room. This was not a good experience with this hotel, especially since we looked forward to staying here after our long drive from Arizona. The room was not worth the price paid, and we would like a minimum of half of our money back.

Local Spanish breakfast one morning, big clean room with carpet, friendly staff, TV news station I wanted, mountain view but I could also keep an eye on car in parking lot, bus stop at corner in case I need it in future, room safe, quiet.

Way down on Cerrillos Road near the outlet mall and I25. I would have cancelled because of location but it was too late. Now I am glad I stayed there. Parents felt hotel was safe enough to let kids go to breakfast room alone. Kids seemed well enough behaved. No shrieking down hallways in the morning.
