Great family stay. Do wish the pool was open 12:30-2 for family swim but understand the desire for quiet time. Other then that, we had a fantastic stay, as always.

The hotel has potential if they spent more money on cleaning up the rooms and public areas but for the price (and I realize it's Napa Valley) it was really bad.

Room had a lot of visible wear and tear and smelled. Fridge was broken (probably the source of smell). Shower head provided miserable water pressure. Bathroom shelf was rusted. Not enough space for personal toiletries. Walls so thin we could hear EVERYTHING!
We could never get hold of the front desk via phone. Considering the rooms weren't serviced daily, "due to Covid", every time we needed something we would have to walk all the way to reception to ask/tell them. I've never in my history of travel experienced a front desk not answering the phone!

It's very expensive in the Napa Valley so our Travelzoo hotel was a very good deal. I was impressed with the variety of outdoor activities available: (I LOVED the very warm spring water of the) swimming and wading pools, hot tub, hammocks, bocce ball court, cornhole games, fire pits, heat lamps for outdoor eating. The restaurant was clean, attractive and contemporary in design. The food was delicious and reasonable.
Other Comments
A few issues were troublesome (1) the squeaky floor (2) shower curtain that allowed water to collect on the floor outside of the shower.

We weren’t very impressed with the room. The design was kind of clunky, not comfy. The bed was uncomfortable. Calistoga is a great little town and we enjoyed it but would have been happier staying somewhere else.

We enjoyed the mineral pools and the ease of staying at the hotel restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was priced perfectly and the dinner/cocktails were delicious. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage.

Friendly staff. The carpet in our room was dirty and needed an upgrade. No bathroom sink stopper which could prove dangerous if you accidentally drop something down the drain. And, pool towels were in the room and we didn't realize this until already in the pool and no towels to be found!

We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area! There were a few funny things (like no hand towels or wash cloths in our room, which we did request and never got) but overall a good experience and good value, especially with the wine included! We would return!

We went to Fleetwood restaurant and did not get the $25 credit applied to our bill. I guess we should have asked but just forgot at the end- but maybe there is a better way to handle that (e.g. hand the guests a voucher at check-in)? Also, hoping we can somehow still get that? We would like to return so maybe we can get a credit to use at the restaurant next time?
