According to Lonely Planet, Stockholm "is one of the most beautiful major cities in the world", so it's worth staying in the city centre. Hotel Riddargatan is a great choice for those who want a base near Stockholm's major attractions as it's in Östermalm, one of Stockholm's most central and affluent districts.
The hotel is a stone's throw from the Royal Opera House. It's a 6-minute walk from Berzelii Park and approximately a 15-minute stroll from both Stockholm's Old Town and the National Museum. Hotel Riddargatan is close to Birger Jarlsgatan and Grev Turegatan -- two well-known shopping streets. Stureplan -- famous for its restaurants, clubs and bars --is also within walking distance.
There isn't an on-site restaurant but guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the hotel's cosy library lounge or bar before walking to one of the many restaurants in the area. Bright bedrooms have wooden floors, modern décor and black-out curtains, as well as mini bars, flat-screen TVs, cable channels and safes. Designer suites have lounge areas, spa baths and rain showers. Wi-Fi is free, as is a buffet breakfast featuring local organic produce. It’s served in the cosy breakfast room, near the fireplace. Room service is also available.
